Recently we published a notice advising that the sewer lift station pumps were being plugged by materials flushed down a drain or toilet. This problem continues to occur.
We ask for your further cooperation.....please do not dispose of fibrous items such as diapers, wipes and rags down a drain or toilet. These materials cannot pass through the wastewater pumps.
Caught in the pump, they create an emergency situation for the employees and lead to expensive cleaning and maintenance costs which are ultimately paid for by you, the consumer. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact the Village office.

Once Christmas comes around so do those famous red suits. Santas can be
seen in every mall or at any family get together with screaming,
tear-faced children in their laps.
Most of the Santas handle all this stress pretty well and end up
getting the child to confess what they want for Christmas, get a quick
picture taken, and hand them a candy cane. There is one Santa though
that didn’t quite make it to this point.
