The softball team continues to work hard under the supervision of new coach, Marie Rowley. Unfortunately, their record does not reflect much improvement. The girls have, however, become a much better-rounded team. 

Three girls alternate pitching, Amber Schmidt, Jaime Bender, and Aubree Freeman. With such few numbers, the team has a few freshmen who are required to do a lot more than they ever imagined. This Thursday, May 21, 2009, the girls face Cambria, and it will be a challenge. The girls can at least say they’ve doubled their record since last year.
